On May 30, 2022, Asian Institute of Technology Center in Vietnam ( tài xỉu ) organized the Gala Dinner to celebrate the 29th anniversary at Grand Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
This is a special occasion to look back on the 29-year journey since tài xỉu was established from 1993 to be the first international education institution in Vietnam to provide international quality training programs towards the sustainable development of Vietnam and other countries in the region.
Attending the anniversary celebration were Dr. Eden Woon – President of tài xỉu , Mr. Russell Rein – Vice President for Administration of tài xỉu , Prof. Dieter Trau – Dean of SET, Dr. Phung Van Dong – Director of tài xỉu and tài xỉu ’s staff, lecturers, sponsors and alumni.
At the anniversary celebration, Dr. Eden Woon gave an enthusiastic speech about tài xỉu ’s achievements in education and effort in contributing to community development. Dr Eden Woon also shared about how tài xỉu overcame the difficulties of Covid-19 to maintain the high acceleration rate of student recruitment (5-10%/year).
In the near future, tài xỉu in general and tài xỉu in particular will apply more innovation in teaching and operating to keep up with the development of society.
In this special occasion, to start a new chapter in the journey, tài xỉu kicked off the “Toward 30th tài xỉu Anniversary ” campaign with promising messages and activities.
The anniversary celebration ended with a party, home-made performances and photo taking in a warm, joyful atmosphere.
